Site rules & service boundaries

Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Baltimore Dumpster Finder, including the decision tool, local provider directory, pricing and permit guidance, reports, quote-follow-up requests, and provider/vendor inquiry features.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

The short version

Help first. Recommend second. The provider still controls the actual rental.

Baltimore Dumpster Finder is an informational planning and lead-introduction service. It can help you compare likely dumpster sizes, local planning ranges, material rules, placement issues, and documented providers. It is not the dumpster rental company, permitting authority, engineer, waste regulator, or guarantor of a provider's work.

1

Planning guidance

Recommendations are educational starting points based on the answers you provide and the current rules in the decision engine.

2

Provider terms control

The provider's current quote, service area, material rules, weight limits, fees, availability, and rental agreement control the actual transaction.

3

Verify local requirements

Permit, placement, right-of-way, HOA, property-owner, access, and disposal requirements must be confirmed for the actual project and location.

4

Money does not buy the answer

Advertising, sponsorship, listing status, or a future lead relationship does not change the dumpster-size recommendation.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

Using the site means these rules apply.

By accessing or using Baltimore Dumpster Finder, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit information through its forms.

You must use the site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms.

2. Decision-tool recommendations

A recommendation is a starting point, not a guarantee.

The decision tool uses project information you provide to produce an explainable dumpster-size planning recommendation. The result depends on the accuracy and completeness of those answers and the rules currently configured in the engine.

A recommendation does not guarantee that a particular container is safe, legal, available, sufficient, accepted by a provider, or appropriate for every material in your load.

Dense or restricted materials can change the safe or lawful container choice. Always confirm material acceptance, maximum weight, fill-line rules, and other restrictions with the provider before ordering.

3. Pricing and rental terms

Displayed prices are planning information.

Planning ranges and public provider price examples may be based on publicly available information checked on a stated date. Pricing can change because of address, container size, included tonnage, debris type, rental duration, taxes, fuel, disposal costs, overage charges, access conditions, availability, or other provider terms.

Baltimore Dumpster Finder does not guarantee any displayed price or quote. The provider's current written or otherwise communicated quote and rental agreement control the transaction.

4. Provider directory and matching

Directory inclusion is not an endorsement.

Provider records may be assembled from public company information, provider submissions, and our own verification work. We try to keep records useful and current, but service areas, phone numbers, websites, container sizes, pricing, terms, licensing, insurance, and availability can change.

You are responsible for evaluating any provider before hiring them. Baltimore Dumpster Finder is not a party to the rental agreement between you and a provider unless a future service expressly says otherwise.

Provider matching occurs after the recommendation and may use factors such as recommended container size and ZIP/service area. Paid relationships do not alter the recommendation logic.

5. Quote requests and provider communications

Submitting a request does not guarantee a response or rental.

If you submit a quote-follow-up request, you authorize us to use the submitted project and contact information as described in the Privacy Policy and, when provider routing is enabled, to share it with relevant providers for quote or service follow-up.

We do not guarantee that any provider will respond, accept the project, honor a particular price, have inventory available, or provide service on a requested date.

Any agreement, payment, cancellation, delivery, pickup, damage claim, disposal issue, or other dispute involving a provider is between you and that provider unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

6. Permits, placement, and disposal rules

Confirm the rules for the actual address before delivery.

Permit and placement information is provided for planning convenience and may change. A page describing Baltimore County requirements is not a permit determination for your project.

You are responsible for confirming current requirements with the appropriate government agency, property owner, landlord, HOA, site manager, or provider. Do not assume that private-property placement, street placement, sidewalk placement, or public-right-of-way use is automatically authorized.

You are also responsible for verifying that the materials placed in the dumpster are allowed by the provider and applicable law.

7. Your responsibilities

Good answers make the tool useful.

  • Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • Do not submit another person's contact information without authority.
  • Do not use the site for fraud, harassment, spam, unlawful activity, or interference with the service.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, access controls, or anti-abuse systems.
  • Do not scrape, harvest, or republish the provider directory or site content at scale without permission.
  • Verify provider, permit, placement, weight, and material requirements before relying on them.

8. Provider/vendor inquiries

Business submissions must be authorized and accurate.

If you submit a provider/vendor inquiry, you represent that you are authorized to communicate on behalf of the identified business and that the submitted information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee listing inclusion, correction, partnership, advertising, sponsorship, lead-generation availability, or any other commercial relationship.

We may verify business information using public sources before responding or changing a directory record.

9. Advertising and future commercial relationships

Commercial relationships stay downstream from the recommendation.

The site may in the future display advertising, sponsored placement, referral relationships, featured provider information, or paid lead-generation arrangements. Any such relationship may affect where or how a provider is displayed only where clearly disclosed; it will not change the underlying dumpster-size recommendation.

If our business model materially changes how personal information is used or shared, we will update the Privacy Policy as appropriate before implementing that change.

10. Third-party websites and services

External links leave our control.

The site may link to provider websites, government forms, maps, payment systems, analytics services, email services, or other third-party resources. We do not control their content, availability, security, privacy practices, pricing, or terms. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that third party's own terms and policies.

11. Intellectual property

The site can be used; it cannot simply be copied wholesale.

Baltimore Dumpster Finder's original text, visual design, software, decision logic, reports, graphics, branding, and other original site materials are owned by or licensed to the site operator and are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. Provider names, trademarks, public facts, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

You may use generated recommendations and reports for your own project planning. You may not copy, resell, mirror, scrape at scale, or create a competing bulk dataset from the site without permission.

12. Availability, errors, and changes

We improve the site, but we cannot promise uninterrupted perfection.

We may modify, suspend, correct, replace, or discontinue site features, provider records, planning ranges, recommendation rules, content, or integrations. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free, complete, or current.

If you notice incorrect provider information, use the Provider / Vendor Inquiries page so we can review it.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Baltimore Dumpster Finder is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or a guaranteed outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

Use the tool as one input in your decision, not as the only safeguard.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Baltimore Dumpster Finder and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, reliance on site content, provider conduct, pricing differences, permit or placement issues, property damage, delayed or failed service, disposal decisions, or third-party websites.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited or excluded.

15. Governing law and venue

Maryland law governs these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Subject to any rights that cannot be waived, disputes concerning these Terms or the site will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Baltimore County, Maryland, or an applicable federal court in Maryland.

16. Changes to these Terms

The current version lives on this page.

We may update these Terms as the site, law, provider relationships, monetization, or technical systems change. The “Last updated” date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to later use of the site.

17. Contact and privacy

Use the website, not a public personal email address.

For privacy questions or requests concerning information we maintain about you, use the Privacy Request form. Dumpster companies and industry partners can use the Provider / Vendor Inquiries page.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Before you order

Use the recommendation, then verify the real-world details.

Confirm the provider's current quote, accepted materials, included weight, overage fees, rental period, availability, delivery access, and any permit or placement requirements before committing to a rental.
